Day outings are a favorite of ours. It is always nice to get a change of scenery and learn something new. Some of these outings include Klackle Orchards, Heritage Village, and Frederik Meijer Gardens for their various exhibits.
We provide transportation in our bus with wheelchair lift. All members can participate regardless of their mobility level.
Our members love listening to the different musicians who perform for us. Music is a great way to relax and to have some fun!
Artists are welcome to play the piano at Clay Street Center or bring instruments of their own.
If you are interested in sharing your musical talents with us, please visit our volunteer page.
Clay Street Center is directly across the street from the Flat River Trail. When the weather is nice, we love to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. The trail offers a great place to get some exercise, with benches to stop and rest along the way.
Games and Crafts
Our Life Enrichment Coordinator is always looking for new activities to share with our members. She has years of experience working with older adults and a sense of creativity that can be found in the different projects and activities we offer. There's friendly competition in the games played here with the Greenville Middle School students who visit us.
We love the opportunity to throw a party! Our holiday celebrations involve themed snacks, crafts, music, and lots of fun! We don't want our members to miss out on any of life's little pleasures.
